This is the home of STA-Chatter (Station Tera-Alpha Chatter). So what is STA-Chatter? STA-Chatter is a special version of Portable Miranda made just for the users of the Station Tera-Alpha website. STA-Chatter is a program you install and can use to get to our Paranormal/Anime/Manga/General chat room very easily. Install, start, connect and you are there! It is setup to be the most useful to members of our site, however anyone wanting to enter our chat room easily can use it. Currently STA-Chatter is only available for the Windows platform but will be expanded to Linux in the future.
To Update: To update from a previous version to the latest version, just install over the old version. Be sure to make backups of the STA-Suite\STA-Fox\Data\profile if you have made any changes to STA-Fox's settings. If you have made changes to STA-Chatter, be sure to back up STA-Suite\STA-Chatter\Data\profiles
NOTE: With version 6 comes a change in directory structure and default install location. If you want to migrate your settings from a version previous, you will have to do so manually. We have decided to discontinue the STA-Suite and separate each application instead of having them all in one package. This will save us bandwidth and allow the end user to only download what they want to use. We would also like to note that the Beta4 refered to the STA-Suite. The STA-Chatter version is different than the STA-Suite version.
An easy way to check md5 sums is to download md5summer. We have packaged the original unaltered md5summer program into an installer. It's the simplest and easiest md5 sum creator and checker we have seen for the Windows platform. If you are on Linux, your distro likely comes with a md5 checker already.
